PRIVACY POLICY

The Response USA for Relief and Development (hereafter called as ‘Response USA’) Privacy Policy (“Policy”) was created to help you understand how Response USA uses information that is automatically collected from your computer and information you submit through the donation site (“Site”). Response USA is committed to protecting your online privacy. By using this Site, you agree to be legally bound by this Policy as it may be amended from time to time. If you do not agree to this Policy or cannot form a legally binding contract, you are not permitted to use this Site.

Generally, if we collect information from you, we use it only for the purposes for which it was collected and the other limited purposes set forth below.

I. Information Collected

a) This Site collects two types of information from you: (1) General Information; and (2) Personal Information.

(1) General Information:

As provided by the Response USA Privacy Policy, by accessing the Site, certain information about you, such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the Site, the software used and the time spent, along with other similar information, will be stored on Response USA server. This information will not specifically identify you. The information will be used internally only for website traffic analysis. Response USA assumes no responsibility for the security of this information.

(2) Personal Information:

We seek the above information primarily to facilitate donations and to communicate with you about them. For example, if you donate to Response USA using the Site’s donation form, Response USA may send you a one-time communication to thank you for your donation. We may use personal information to provide you with more targeted content and further information about Response USA and how you can support its activities and mandate.

b) Response USA may aggregate user statistics and disclose such aggregated user statistics (for example, “75% of our donors come from X country”) to prospective donors and other third parties, as appropriate, to pursue and support Response USA’s mandate. Your identity will not be disclosed by these aggregated user statistics.

c) We may work with certain third parties to perform functions on our behalf, such as sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from donor lists, analyzing data, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. These third parties may have access to your personal information as needed to perform their functions, but they may not use it for any other purpose. However, Response USA assume no responsibility for the use practices of third parties.

II. Sharing

V. Security

We take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of your personal information. This Site has security measures in place to protect loss, misuse, and/or alteration of such information under our control.
